YES WE CAN! Es un performance participativo con forma de concurso. Se insta a los participantes a superar tres pruebas: Hiper-comunicación, Hiper-producción e Hiper-actividad, concursando por un bono fungible en el casino.
Tomando como punto de partida el pensamiento de Michel Foucault, YES WE CAN! nace de la pregunta: ¿Cuáles son las tecnologías del poder que tienen vigencia actualmente en el “yo”? Para contestar esta pregunta se profundizó en el concepto de <<sociedad positiva>> Byung-Chul Han, que Actualiza el pensamiento disciplinar de Foucault confrontándolo con los paradigmas del capitalismo reciente.

YES WE CAN! is a performance presented as a contest. Participants are encouraged to run three tests: Hyper-communication, Hyper-production and Hyper-Activity, as they contest in order to win a casino bonus.
Taking the thought of Michel Foucault as starting point, YES WE CAN! arises from the following question: ¿Which are the power technologies that are currently in force regarding the "self"?. In order to answer this question, the concept of <<positive society>> by Byung-Chul Han was examined in depth; thus, confronting Foucault’s thought with the recent paradigms of capitalism.

Competir para alcanzar la felicidad, que acaba reducida al sentimiento de ambición a partir de necesidades insaciables. ¿Qué es lo que de verdad me hace falta de todo lo que tengo?"

"Contest of the absurd; satire of a society that has internalized exacerbated consumption patterns inadvertently until looking at its reflection (much like a capitalistic version of Dorian Gray). Racing for happiness, which is just reduced to the feeling of ambition arising from insatiable needs. ¿What do I really lack from all that I have?"
