Los humanos tienen una predisposición a ejecutar acciones y seguir órdenes sin cuestionar sus repercusiones morales, especialmente si se ven legitimadas por un grupo o por un rol de autoridad. ¿Está el comportamiento definido por el rol, por normas y situaciones o por la personalidad? ¿Qué lleva a un humano a actuar en contra de otro, reprimiéndolo o humillándolo?
"¿Por qué haces lo que haces?" es una experiencia. Un experimento social que reflexiona sobre el comportamiento humano. El experimento consistió en darle a cinco personas diez tareas que significaban sumisión y humillación progresivas. Dos personas desempeñaron el papel de víctimas, dos el de victimarios y la quinta el de intermediaria. Las tareas fueron asignadas en un sobre que fue entregado a los cinco participantes y fueron leídas en voz alta por el intermediario, llegando a ejecutarse hasta la novena de la lista.

Humans are very prone to perform actions and to follow orders without questioning their moral implications. Especially when they are legitimized by a group or by an authority role. ¿Is behavior defined by roles, by rules and situations, or by personality? ¿What makes a human being act against another, repressing or humiliating him or her?
"¿Why do you do what you do?" is an experience. A social experiment that ponders on human behavior. The experiment consisted on providing five people with ten tasks that meant progressive submission and humiliation. Two people played the role of victims, two played victimizers and the fifth was the intermediary. Tasks were assigned in an envelope that was delivered to the five participants and were read aloud by the intermediary, reaching run to nine out of the ten tasks on the list.
