Como artista joven busco satisfacer parte de mis necesidades fisiológicas básicas dentro del recinto de la Feria Internacional de Arte Contemporáneo de Arco en Madrid, específicamente de asearme y de darme un baño. Con el baño se busca extraer las suciedades, el sudor y el olor, características naturales del cuerpo, dar una pátina de limpieza, preparando el cuerpo social para el ritual de interactuar con los distintos agentes de la feria.

As a young artist, I searched to satisfy some of my basic physiological needs within the grounds of the ARCO International Contemporary Art Fair in Madrid. I washed and groomed myself in the facility’s rest room. Washing not only removes dirt, but also sweat and odours –natural qualities of the body. It left behind a clean patina and prepared the social body for the ritual of interacting with the different agents of the fair.
